HOW FUN!!

Gosh sometimes I wish I was a kid again or at least had a childs spirit. The kind that says the water is never cold when you jump in and the weather is never too cold to spend hours builing a snow tunnel. This is a pic of the boys and their handywork. I thought it was cute. They have literally been outside for hours with their friends building it and they can actually crawl through the tunnel from one end to the other. They really do work so hard that they actually sweat. Now that is what I call a "SNOW DAY". They truly made the best of it and thankfully for me that meant they spent much of the day outside!

SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!

It is a BLIZZARD here! This is the worst weather system I have seen since living here. You know it is bad if they cancel school. That requires some pretty bad weather. I think they have missed school two times in 4 years for snow and this is one of them. We have had 60 + mph winds and blowing snow. There are snow drifts over a foot high. The kids still want to play in it. They are crazy!! I was too cold to stay out and get any good pics. I think the wind chill is like 15 degrees. Hard to believe it was 80 degrees here 4 days ago. It is supposed to stop tonight and be sunny tomorrow. Those are always the best pictures. A sunny blue sky day following a beautiful snowfall. Stay tuned for better pics. Have a great day!!
